How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

When you send a request through Connectedkey Concrete, you end up talking with an independent local provider. That is a real business that pours and finishes concrete in your area. It is not Connectedkey Concrete, and it is not a call center that does the work.

Each provider sets its own prices, schedule and terms.

What Happens on the Call

Say your phone rings the evening after you send a request. The provider will likely ask a few simple things. What do you want built? How big is the space? What is there now? Is the ground sloped, and where does water go in a storm?

Then they may suggest a visit to measure and look at the site. Some jobs can be talked through over the phone first. Others need eyes on the yard.

What to Ask an Independent Provider

A short list helps you stay calm and focused. Try these:

  • What base and thickness do you plan for my driveway or patio?
  • How will water drain away from the house?
  • Where will joints go, and why?
  • What finish options do you offer, including stamped patterns?
  • When can I seal it, and how often after that?
  • Are you licensed and insured where I live?
  • Can I have the quote in writing, with the scope spelled out?

Look past pour day. A good answer covers what happens in year one and year five, not just the day the truck arrives.

You Are in Control

Sending a request does not commit you to anything. You can talk with a provider, ask questions and say no thanks. You can also compare more than one written quote.

Costs vary by job, by site and by season, so treat any number you hear on a first call as a rough guide until you see it on paper.
